.Eze Chimalio is an artist/writer/filmmaker and a self-taught trumpeter. A former tenor saxophonist with the Don Asante underground quintet who split before recording any music. After that he sold his sax for a trumpet, with the sole intention of teaching himself to play it. Unconventional, radical, he approaches the trumpet like a paintbrush for sound canvas.
